The story so far

The drama follows four family members: a father who is also a Mongolian politician, a mother who is an Alterra engineer, a daughter who sings, and a baby who appears later as a young daughter, per the credits. Radio news hosts, a PSA announcer, an Alterra advertiser and an admiral, Rathine Studaber, carry the wider world into their home. Alterra is the corporation behind the Pioneer program and the Cicada, so the mother's job ties the family to the ship.

0:00 Zezura, named in episode 3 as the family's hope, is the colonists' destination; in the game the Cicada crashes on an ocean world instead, the ocean moon Proteus as GamingBolt and MeinMMO name it. The clip is exe.plained's May 25, 2026 summary of the game's premise: the Cicada leaves for Zezura with 40,000 colonists stored digitally and crash-lands on Proteus.
